The Hanging Barn is one episode of The Spotlight Rescue Series, a project that features short stories about equine rescue situations and the organizations working to make a difference. Each short is a stand alone mini-doc but is also part of a one hour piece available for screening in festivals and local television. Eight stories were featured in the 2017 Series, which won Best Documentary Series and the Horse Hero Award at the 2017 EQUUS Film Festival in New York. The 2018 Series is currently in production.
